LISBON: ISTANBUL’S LONG LOST NON-EVIL TWIN

I started my sunny life, which I have been looking for for a long time and where the beach is a part of my day, by settling in Lisbon. In this slow city, where people are as warm and lazy as in Turkey, I was drawn to a modesty and sincerity that I have never seen in most European cultures. This society, which is not afraid to paint its walls colorfully and decorates its cities with Wes Anderson-like patterns, makes me jealous on behalf of my own country from time to time with its respect for animals and nature. I opened my eyes with the relief of leaving the times I lived in fast and hectic cities behind for now. I’m part of what’s going on around this time.
